The real barriers
You're capable. The obstacles are technical, not intellectual.
Most CLEP test-takers fail not because they lack knowledge, but because they face barriers no one addresses.
Technical Trauma
Proctoring software pop-ups, ID scan failures, and environment restrictions cause test abandonment, not knowledge gaps.
Isolated & Overwhelmed
Free resources leave you alone to figure out what to study, when you're ready, and how to navigate the system.
No Confidence Certainty
You don't know if you're ready to test, so you either procrastinate for months or waste exam fees on premature attempts.
We eliminate the barriers between you and your college credits
The only CLEP platform that combines question-led teaching, spaced repetition, and confidence scoring, so you test when you're ready, not when you're hoping.

Why I built this
"I discovered CLEP in high school and used it to earn my BS in Business Administration. Instead of sitting through lectures, I tested out of courses I already understood from life experience and curiosity. Flying Prep is that same efficient path, systematized for working adults."

Common questions
Everything you need to know before you start
Will my college accept CLEP credits?
It depends on your school. Over 3,000 institutions accept CLEP credits, but policies vary widely. Some schools accept all exams, others limit credit to certain subjects or cap total credits (commonly 30-60). Before investing time in prep, verify your school's policy: check their registrar website for "credit by examination" or call admissions. Ask specifically: which exams they accept, what score is required, and if there's a cap on total CLEP credits.
How long does it take to prepare for an exam?
It depends on your existing knowledge. Some students with prior exposure pass with as little as 20 hours of prep. Our diagnostic assessment identifies what you already know, so you only study the gaps. The confidence scoring shows you exactly when you're ready.
Is this just practice questions, or actual teaching?
Both. Every topic starts with a question to spark curiosity, then logic-first explanations teach the underlying concept. Combined with spaced repetition flashcards and full-length practice exams, this isn't a question dump. It's a complete prep system.
What if I'm rusty at studying or haven't been in school for years?
That's exactly who we built this for. The diagnostic quiz identifies what you already know, spaced repetition flashcards make studying efficient, and logic-first explanations build real understanding, not memorization tricks. Many of our users haven't studied in 10+ years and still pass on their first attempt.
How do I check if my school accepts CLEP?
Search "[Your School] CLEP policy" or "[Your School] credit by examination." Most schools list accepted exams on their registrar or admissions page. If not listed, email your academic advisor: "I'm considering CLEP exams. Which subjects does [School] accept, what scores are required, and is there a cap on total credits?" Get this in writing before you start studying.
